INFO 130 - Introduction to Web Design and Programming
Final course grades will be based on the combination of homeworks, projects, group final project components, and a final oral examination.. The evaluation considers your semester-wide participation, attendance, and conscientiousness. The weighting given to these components is as follows:

Type Quantity Points Total
Homeworks 5 5 25
Projects 3 10 30
Final Project 1 20 20
FP Milestones 3 5 15
Final Evaluation 1 10 10

Late Policy

Late assignments are accepted within 3 days after the due date, and will be subject to a 25% penalty for every twenty four hours or portion thereof after the due time (e.g., a one day late assignment that receives a grade of "10" will be reduced to "7.5"). Under exceptional circumstances you may petition the professor to have your late homework accepted without penalty; please note that, since homework assignments are scheduled well ahead of time, "too much work in other classes" is not considered an exceptional circumstance.

Regrade Policy

Any homework, project or exam may be submitted for regrading by bringing a copy of the assignment and the work to be regarded to the professor's office hours. Note that only the professor, not the TAs, may regrade. If you cannot make office hours, you may also make an appointment with the professor for your regrade. All requests for regrades must be submitted within a week of receiving the grade. The professor reserves the right to give regrades that are lower than the original grade as well as higher, and at his discretion to regrade the entire assignment rather than only the problematic part.
